    London Market at Taj Gurugram

    Date: 12/05/2018

Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

The spring 2018 fashion season is arriving. Models, editors, stylists, buyers and influencers travelled from New York to London, to Milan and finally to Paris to gauge the shape of style this spring. The hue to embrace is lilac. Your shoulders are going to have a whole new look. And sequins are now do-able all day, any day. London Market look into the spring 2018 fashion season ahead. THE COLOUR; Lilac Millennial pink has had its day–we’re heading into the violet hour, with designers embracing lilac for everything from tailoring to bouncy-hemmed party dresses. Reinvent the colour wheel by wearing a lavender jumper with grey wool trousers or a glossy, black vinyl pencil skirt. “If there is anything to say at the moment, let it be with love. Let it be joyful.” That translated literally as clothes to party in– sparkles, tassles, feathers– and to wiggle in– pencil skirts, sheer layers, fantastic plastics. Whether you respond to the calls to action in New York and Paris, ascribe to the escapism of Milan, or thrill to the celebrations of womanhood in London, the meaning was clear; Let your clothes reflect the person you are. Whoever you are, whatever you’re into, find clothes this spring that highlight your best you. ‘London Market’ looks at the top trends for spring summer 2018, as seen across New York, London, Milan, Paris & Indian fashion weeks. From party sequins to puffball skirts and fancy fringing, these are the top SS18 trends to look out for.
