We believe that everyone has a hidden story bone in their body. Once touched or rather tickled the person actively seeks stories in his / her life and learns to use them as a power tool. Our program is intuitively designed and takes different avatars adapting itself to the needs of its participants. TYSB has different versions for Teachers, Parents, Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Corporate entities. In each of these formats we aim to do one thing, help participants harness the power of stories. Why Elementary? Tickle Your Story Bones Storytelling for Parents, Teachers and Storytellers is a 60 hour program that is aimed at empowering participants to use storytelling as an engaging tool to while working with children. An intensive program complete with notes, worksheets, demos, exercises, games and activities, participants experience the true depth of storytelling. The Elementary level involves 30 hours of training spread across 2 modules and covered over 4 days. During the workshop participants are introduced to the world of Storytelling for Children, understanding story genres, sources, styles and formats of storytelling. After the Elementary level participants are prepared to enrich children’s lives with the magic of storytelling! Who Is It For? Teachers Parents Grandparents Anyone who wants to start a career in Storytelling! Who Has Taken This Program / Workshop? Tickle Your Story Bones has been running at Shyama Prasad College, Delhi University for the past two years during which we have trained over 100 students studying Bachelor of Elementary Education. The program is also running at Amity Centre for Educational Research and Training (ACERT) in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida during the academic year 2016-17. Shorter versions of the program have been conducted in Kunskapskollan, Presidium, Amiown Preschools, Delhi Public School, Bhatinda and Patiala, and Pine Hall School, Saharanpur. All the works in the exhibition have been executed by artists between the age group 7-16 years, under the guidance of their mentors and co-founders of Culture Chauraha Mrs Ritu Sangal & Smriti Sangal. This exhibition is a culmination of all the hard work put in by the students and the studio during their regular art classes throughout the year.     Exploring Mehrauli Archaeological Park

    This Park is unique in being dotted with ruins from several centuries. Its main attractions include the mosque and tomb of Jamali, the tomb of dreaded ruler Balban, a beautiful step well named after masons & a large estate called ‘Dilkusha’of Thomas Metcalfe, which can easily be considered the first farm house in Mehrauli! Meeting Point: entrance to Mehrauli Archaeological Park on Mehrauli Gurgaon Road. There is no signage which names the Park. Please use google maps & coordinate with the walk leader for directions. How to get there: • Metro: The nearest metro station is ‘Qutub Minar’ on yellow line. Exit from metro station and walk to your right, towards Delhi. The entrance to the Mehrauli A. Park is about 500 mts from the metro station & on your left. • Auto/Car: If approaching from Aurobindo Marg or Mehrauli Badarpur Road, then the Park will be on your right, about 150 mts from Lado Sarai T-point/traffic light. You will need to take a u-turn to reach the entrance. If approaching from Gurgaon or Andheria More, the Park will be on your left, about 500 mts from Qutub Metro station. Charges: Rs. 600/- per head. Kindly make the payment in cash (on the spot) before starting the walk. Please carry water, mosquito repellent, protection again sun, and wear proper walking shoes.
